1. Accepting these terms
These Terms of Service apply when you access or use Brivaro. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Brivaro for a business or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
2. Your account
Keep your account information accurate and protect access to your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for ensuring that the people you invite are authorized to access the information you share with them. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Your content and privacy
You retain ownership of the files, records, messages, and other content you submit to Brivaro. You give Brivaro only the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content to operate, secure, and support the service. We do not sell or rent your personal information, sell your content, or use your content for advertising. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled, and our Security page explains how we protect it.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Brivaro to violate any law or another person’s rights; upload malicious or unlawfully obtained material; harass, defraud, or harm anyone; attempt unauthorized access; test or bypass security without written permission; disrupt the service; or help someone else do any of these things. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for content you upload or share.
5. Service arrangements
Brivaro may offer paid services to businesses and professional practices through direct arrangements. Any applicable scope, pricing, payment schedule, renewal, cancellation, refund, and file-retention terms will be provided in writing before paid service begins. Taxes may apply.
6. Ending access
You may stop using Brivaro at any time. Brivaro may suspend or end access when reasonably needed to protect the service or its users, address unlawful or prohibited conduct, comply with law, or for any other reason at our discretion. If you have a separate written service arrangement with Brivaro, its terms will govern any notice, cancellation, refund, or data-retention obligations. We will provide reasonable notice when circumstances allow, but we may restrict or withhold access if providing it would create a security, legal, or safety risk.
7. The service
We work to keep Brivaro useful, secure, and available, but the service may occasionally change or be interrupted. Brivaro is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Brivaro is an organization and collaboration tool; it does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, or other professional advice.
8. Responsibility and liability
Each party remains responsible for its own conduct. To the extent permitted by law, Brivaro will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities. Brivaro’s total liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Brivaro during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
9. Applicable law
These terms and your use of Brivaro are governed by applicable laws of the United States and any applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Nothing in these terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Brivaro evolves. We will post the updated terms here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use Brivaro after updated terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, you may stop using the service.
11. Questions and notices
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms agreed with Brivaro, form the agreement between you and Brivaro for the service. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Questions or formal notices about these terms may be sent to legal@brivaro.xyz.
